Lyudmila Putina, the spouse of the President of Russia, along with Armenian First Lady Bella Kocharian opened Russian Book Center in Yerevan. The center opened in one of the most beautiful mansions in the center of Yerevan built in 1901, where the Armenian Society for Cultural Links has been situated for over half a century. The Center will include a book and video library, as well as a reading room. The Center is expected to be a demanded hearth of the Russian culture in Armenia, which will promote maintaining and development of the traditionally friendly Russian-Armenian relations in the humanitarian and spiritual spheres.
