Acting governor of the Perm Oblast Oleg Chirkunov, who arrived in Yerevan today, and Armenian President Robert Kocharian are to sign a Protocol on Economic and Cultural Cooperation. The acting Governor is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Andranik Margarian, Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanian and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. He is also expected to lay wreaths in the Victory Park and to the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims. The agreement on the present visit was achieved during the visit of Armenian Ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatian to the Perm Oblast this February.
