TREASURES OF ECHMIADZIN EXHIBITION TO OPEN IN BELARUS

The opening of Treasures of Echmiadzin exhibition in Minsk this January is an important event for development of the Armenian-Belarus cultural relations, Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian stated at a meeting with his Belarus counterpart Sergey Sidorsky, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Government. In the course of the meeting the parties also agreed to hold Days of Belarus Culture in Armenia this October. In his turn Sidorsky noted that Days of Armenian Culture will be organized in Belarus in 2006. The interlocutors noted that bilateral relations also develop in education, science and defense. Within the visit to Belarus Andranik Margarian and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, as well as the delegation accompanying them, visited the exposition of goods being produced in Armenia, acquainted themselves with items of mechanical engineering, machine-tool construction, woodworking, light and food industry.
