PACE MONITORING COMMITTEE RAPPORTEURS ARRIVED IN ARMENIA

Today PACE Monitoring Committee Rapporteurs Jerzy Jaskiernia and Georges Colombier, as well as Committee Secretary Bonny Teofilova arrived in Armenia, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Parliament. In the course of the visit they are scheduled to meet with Ambassadors of the EU countries to Armenia, head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, as well as representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, the media and national minorities of Armenia. Tomorrow, May 11, the guests are scheduled to meet with Armenian Speaker Artur Baghdasarian, members of the Temporary Commission for Integration into European Structures, the parliamentary delegation to the PACE, as well as Police Chief Hayk Harutyunian. May 12 meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Serge Sargsian, Minister of Justice Davit Harutyunian, Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepian, Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and other officials are planned. May 13 Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Prime Minister Andranik Margarian will receive the PACE delegation.
