Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian has met with Chinese Prime Minister Vyen Dsiabao, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry. In the course of the meeting the parties discussed matters of bilateral political and economic cooperation. In spite of the commodity turnover between the countries being not so large, the parties noted the importance of constantly increasing it. The interlocutors said they were satisfied over the warm friendly relations between Armenia and China. Vyen Dsiabao remarked the mutual political understanding between Armenia and China and emphasized that both countries have the same approach to global developments and changes. China has reaffirmed its urge to be involved in processes in the South Caucasus and cooperate with Armenia on matters of mutual interest. Mr. Oskanian is scheduled to meet with head of the International Department of the Communist Party Van Xiaru, after which he will head for London to deliver a speech at an event devoted to genocide at the House of Lords.
