Indian Vice President to visit Armenia October 6-8

October 6 Indian Vice President Bharion Singh Shekhawat will arrive in Armenia on a formal visit, RA President’s press center reported. The Indian Vice President is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Robert Kocharian, Parliament Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan, Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and Minister of Agriculture David Lokian. A number of documents targeted at bilateral cooperation will be signed within the visit framework. Besides, Bharion Singh Shekhawat will meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II as well as the teaching staff and students of the Yerevan State University. He will also attend the Genocide Museum and lay a wreath to the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims. The Indian delegation will depart from Armenia on October 8.
