Armenian Ambassador to Presented Credentials to Sri Lanka President

Armenian Ambassador to India Ashot Kocharyan also appointed Ambassador to Sri Lanka yesterday presented credentials to President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. In the course of the meeting A. Kocharyan represented foreign policy priorities of Armenia, economic development of the countries, peculiarities of investment policy. The parties emphasized the need for activation of political, trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and travel cooperation between Armenia and Sri Lanka. Besides, the interlocutors remarked the need for organizing mutual visits of senior delegations of the two countries, as well as the importance of the forming of respective legal framework.
