April 15, several hundreds of people held a rally dated to the 91st anniversary of the mass killings of 1.5 million Armenians in the Ottoman Empire. The action participants demanded the Armenian Genocide recognition from Turkey. They marched from the central square towards the Turkish Embassy colliding with the police that prevented them from approaching the diplomatic representation. To conclude the demonstrators burnt a Turkish flag. Earlier, the Genocide victims were commemorated in one of the districts of the Greek capital city, reported RIA Novosti.
