A mourning ceremony dedicated to the 91st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on Ottoman Turkey was held in Minsk April 24. RA Ambassador to Belarus Suren Harutyunyan, representatives of the Armenian community and youth organizations attended the event. They revered the memory of the victims with a minute of silence and called upon the international community to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
A number of events were also held in Kyiv. A liturgy was chanted in the Pokrov Church. RA Ambassador to Ukraine Armen Khachatryan, film director Roman Balayan as well as members of the Armenian community addressed the attendees.
