RA President’s Spokesman Victor Soghomonyan said today “the Armenian leader evenly treats the secession of Orinats Yerkir from the ruling coalition and the resignation of the Parliament Speaker.” When commenting on the President’s attitude towards the recent developments Victor Soghomonyan said “changes within the coalition are an ordinary phenomenon for any civilized state.”
“Nothing extraordinary has happened, especially taking into account some discrepancies that occurred within the coalition lately and were doomed to tension during the election campaign, Victor Soghomonyan said.
The RA President’s Spokesman voiced assurance that the recent developments “will not cause a political crisis.” The secession was open and civilized. The Republican Party of Armenia and Dashnaktsutyun party continue working within the framework of the political memorandum. After the changes conditioned by the current situation the government and the National Assembly will work in its ordinary regime,” Victor Soghomonyan said.
