Making public details of the Karabakh talks cannot result in resumption of hostilities, Armenian Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan told journalists today, when commenting on latest statements of US Co-Chair of the OSCE MG Matthew Bryza. “I do not think something has happened, which will result in a war. There are no real preconditions for beginning of hostilities,” Serge Sargsyan said.
In the Minister’s words, it would be correct if Bryza, “instead of his own comments” made public not only the document, but also those adopted in Key West and after. Sargsyan added that settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is a task of the Presidents and the Co-Chairs will accept what the state leaders decide.
As earlier stated by US Co-Chair of the OSCE MG Matthew Bryza, a ready specific document is on the bargaining table of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan and they still refuse to accept it. Bryza said that the OSCE MG Co-Chairs urge the Presidents to accept the framework convention, reports Novosti-Armenia.
