Secretary of the Secretary Council at the RA President, Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan met with the delegation of the U.S. European Command led by Deputy Commander of U.S. EUCOM, General William Ward, RA Defense Minister’s Spokesman Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net.
General Ward assessed highly the professionalism of the Armenian peacekeeping forces in Kosovo and Iraq, specifically their ability of quick action in emergency situations, knowledge of foreign languages and discipline. The parties discussed the U.S.-Armenian cooperation and exchanged views on a number of regional and international problems.
