NATO Not Going to Engage in Karabakh Conflict Settlement

NATO does not take part in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and is not going to engage in the issue in future, NATO Spokesman James Appathurai said in Riga. In his words, the Alliance’s position is as follows: the OSCE plays a very important role in the talks on the Karabakh conflict. When asked of the possibility of starting an intense dialogue with Azerbaijan, Mr Appathurai said, “Baku has not made such a request yet,” reports Mediamax.
