The right of nations to self-determination should be one of the fundamental principles in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby stated in Yerevan. “This is one of the principles that should form the basis of settlement of the Karabakh conflict and other conflicts of the kind. But it’s not the only principle. The Helsinki Final Act maintains other principles including the territorial integrity,” Mr Semneby underscored, reports newsarmenia.ru.
