A protest action near the Komitas monument in Paris was quite insulting to the President of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan , deputy chief of the Armenian Presidential staff said. According to him, the All-Armenian tour of the Armenian president had to be started from the monument to Komitas for a special purpose: to show that recognition of the Armenian Genocide is very important for Armenia.
According to him, protesters contradicted themselves. “Shouting every which way that the Armenian Genocide should not be forgotten, they prevented the president to announce this to the whole world,” Vigen Sargsyan said.
