Recognition of the current Armenian-Turkish border is the major danger the Armenian-Turkish protocols contain, according to former commander of NKR Defense army.
Samvel Babayan said that although the Treaty of Kars is not mentioned in the document, the provision on recognition of borders is its reflection.
“If Armenia recognizes the borders of Turkey, it will have to do the same as regards Karabakh. That is to say, Armenian authorities should urge Azerbaijan to recognize the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and its borders,” he said.
Commenting on the recent meeting of Turkic countries in Nakhijevan, Babayan remarked that Turkey will claim to Zangezur soon.
