We have no doubts over 1915 tragic events in Ottoman Empire; still, over 90 years have passed since and today Turkey is a reliable partner to US, Congressman from Virginia Gerry Connolly stated.
“US military base is stationed in Turkey; Turkey assists us in our operations in Afghanistan. US will “jeopardize its interests” by recognizing Armenian Genocide, which would be an irresponsible step to take,” Gerry Connolly stressed during the hearing of U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
