During a working visit Brussels, Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan met with the leadership of the EU delegation to Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
“The RA NA welcomes the establishment of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. Though the process is accompanied by certain difficulties, progress can be registered,” Abrahamyan noted.
EP Chairman for Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Kristian Vigenin hailed Armenia’s constructive participation in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly and expressed hope that the cooperation will continue boosting and strengthening.
He also noted that Abrahamyan’s suggestions with respect to introduction of amendments to Euronest charter are acceptable for the EU delegation’s leadership. According to Vigenin, Euronest will launch operation in mid-fall 2010, the RA NA press office reported.
