During a working visit to the European Parliament, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan met with Secretary General of the European People's Party (EPP) Antonio Lopez-Isturiz White.
Attached importance to the development of inter-party relations, which can contribute to boosting cooperation in various formats, the Armenian Speaker offered to provide the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) with observer’s status in the EPP.
For his part, Antonio Lopez-Isturiz White also stressed the importance of active inter-party cooperation and briefed on the procedure for acquiring EPP membership, hailing Abrahamyan’s offer on cooperation, the RA NA press service reported.
