On August 3, Bulgaria’s Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidove awarded Armenian Ambassador to Bulgaria Sergey Manaseryan with Golden Age Medal of Honor for his exceptional contribution to the development of the Armenian-Bulgarian cultural ties.
The Minister of Culture noted that, due to efforts of Sergey Manaseryan, a range of events were organized, including days of Bulgarian culture in Armenia (in 2009), exhibition of Sergei Parajanov’s works in Sofia, as well as concerts of Armenian musician Jivan Gasparyan and Komitas Quartet in Bulgaria, the RA MFA press service reported.
