United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that she will support President Barack Obama for his re-election.
She pledged support for Obama when asked in an interview by CCTV if she will campaign for the presidential elections in 2012.
She also ruled out a second attempt for the U.S. presidency.
Clinton fought a neck-to-neck race with Obama for the Democratic Party nomination to run for the presidential election in 2008.
Clinton said she was "very proud to be on his team and to be our Secretary of State," and added that she was "very humbled by the many challenges that we are working on together."
She expressed the hope that she "can make a small contribution to the positive, cooperative, comprehensive relationship between my country and China" during the "important visit" of Chinese President Hu Jintao, RTTNews reported.
