Matthew Bryza, who was confirmed by U.S. President Barack Obama as the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan late last year, stated that peaceful and fair resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be his top priority at the post.
During a reception organized by the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC), Bryza also noted that he can’t wait arriving in Baku to promote relations between the United States and Azerbaijan, Trend News reported.
The post of the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan has been vacant for 18 months already, since Anne Derse completed her mission.
