The Federation of Armenian Organizations in the Netherlands (FAON) and Hay Dat are organizing a demonstration to commemorate 23rd anniversary of the pogroms of Armenians in Sumgait.
The event initiators call on all other Armenian organizations and all Armenians throughout the Netherlands for a massive demonstration to commemorate the Armenian victims of the pogroms of Sumgait in 1988 and Baku in 1990, to display solidarity with the people of Nagorno Karabakh and to ask the support of Dutch government and international community to seek a peaceful solution to the conflict, honoring Nagorno Karabakh people’s right to self-determination.
