The Armenian Patriarchate’s St. James Monastery in Jerusalem was attacked, and Israeli police arrested six people, according to The Times of Israel.
The news outlet also published video footage of the incident.
According to the report, the suspects banged on the monastery’s door, spat, and shouted insulting remarks.
The publication said the suspects were Jewish, and five of the six detainees were minors.
Armenian journalist Gegham Balyan said that when the suspects noticed an Armenian woman filming them, they threw stones toward her window and shouted, “Go home, you promiscuous girl,” Sputnik Armenia reported.
The Armenian Patriarchate has submitted an official protest to the Jerusalem authorities.
