Country to Live party to participate in local elections

The Country to Live party has announced that it will actively participate in the upcoming local government elections.

The party said it continues to regard work at the community level as a priority.

“The Country to Live party will actively participate in the upcoming local government elections. For the party, representation in communities and addressing community issues continue to be important priorities.

“Although the authorities are using every possible means to hinder the independence of the local government system and the activities of established local opposition administrations, we will fight to strengthen democratic institutions through elections. We are confident that we will build on the results achieved in previous elections, taking into account the effective work carried out by the Country to Live party in communities,” the statement said.

Local government elections will be held on September 27 in the communities of Tumanyan and Lermontovo in Lori Province, Ferik in Armavir Province, and Arzni in Kotayk Province.
