Armenian National Assembly Speaker Ruben Rubinyan, who was in Rome for the European Conference of Presidents of Parliament of the Council of Europe, met with French National Assembly President Yaël Braun-Pivet on October 15. The two emphasized the importance of strengthening interparliamentary ties and the role of parliamentary diplomacy in deepening bilateral relations.
During their discussions, the officials highlighted the high level of friendly relations established between Armenia and France and exchanged views on opportunities for their further development and deepening. The meeting’s agenda also included issues of regional significance.
Both sides stressed the importance of continuing to develop cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments and maintaining reciprocal visits.
