Direct flights between Yerevan and Sofia will resume on November 7, with GullivAir operating the route in cooperation with Bulgaria Air.
Flights on the Sofia–Yerevan–Sofia route will run every Thursday and Saturday until March 25, 2027, Armenpress reports, citing GullivAir.
The airline is also considering extending the service into the summer season, depending on passenger demand.
An official ceremony will be held at Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport on November 7 to welcome the first flight. Those expected to attend include Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, and representatives of Armenian government institutions.
The restored route will provide a direct air connection between the Armenian and Bulgarian capitals
