Seven new production branches were established at the Azerbaijani ministry of defense industry in 2010.
Over 350 types of defense products at the amount of 50.3mln manats were produced by the ministry during this period. 22 items of defense products were produced in 2010.
The annual report of the Cabinet of Ministers reads that, as a whole, technological lines of the new production branches provide with the opportunity to produce 10 types of various-caliber cartridges and 5 types of weapon fuses, AzerTAc reported.
