Lithuania is ready to extend every possible assistance in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh issue as an EU and OSCE member, as well as in bilateral format, Lithuanian President stated.
As Dalia Grybauskaite said after a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, “Lithuania supports peaceful settlement of the issue. Such conflicts lead to heavy losses for any country. To resolve the conflict, patience, open approach and peaceful attitude are necessary. European as well as the international communities strongly support peaceful settlement of conflict,” Novosti-Azerbaijan quoted her as saying.
