According to the preliminary data, about $6,5 million was gathered in the course of the yesterday’s Los Angeles TV marathon for the continuation of the construction works of the “North-South” highway in Nagorno Karabakh. Philanthropists Albert Boyajian and Luis Simon Manukian donated $1 million each. To remind, the whip-round for the “North-South” highway started November 12 in Europe where about $900 000 was collected. It should be also noted that $15 million was necessary for accomplishing the construction of the so-called “Road of Life”.
