Armenian president Robert Kocharian today signed a decree on dismissing major general Levon Stepanian from the office of commander of frontier troops of the National Security Service of Armenia. Colonel Vyacheslav Voskanian is appointed to the office by another presidential decree. It should be noted that deputy commander of frontier troops of the National Security Service, colonel Vahan Mkhitarian was arrested today on accusation of bribery of especially large amount and abuse of official position.
