NO PERSONNEL CHANGES EXPECTED IN ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY

Armenian defense minister’s press secretary Seyran Shakhsuvarian refuted mass media reports about the changes expected among the staff of the defense department of RoA. As reported by Arka agency according to his words, the information published by Aravot local newspaper does not correspond to reality. It should be noted that according to today’s newspaper number, head of Armenian Armed Forces General Staff Mikael Harutyunian will be relieved of his post and appointed Armenian president’s adviser for military affairs. As reported by the newspaper, his post will be occupied by Nagorno Karabakh defense minister Seyran Ohanian, meanwhile acting Chief of the NKR General Staff, regular officer Movses Hakobian will be appointed defense minister of the republic.
