The World Bank gave a favorable reception to the fact of passing the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant to the trust management of Inter RAO UES Russian company. As reported by Mediamax agency, WB regional director Donna Dowset-Koirolo stated today in Yerevan that it would stimulate the investment of capital in the sphere of Armenian energy. Besides, in her words, the present deal will allow to raise the ANPP managing level and improve financial condition of the plant. To remind, the agreement on passing the Armenian NPP to the trust management of Inter RAO UES (RAO UES’s subsidiary) for a 5-year-term was signed in Yerevan yesterday.
