ILHAM ALIYEV WELCOMES AZERI AND ARMENIAN LEADERS’ DIALOGUE AIMING AT KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

Azeri prime minister Ilham Aliyev being one of the most probable contenders for the post of the state leader at the coming election positively evaluated the negotiations held between Armenian and Azeri presidents and aimed at the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. As reported by Baku sources, in the course of the meeting with new Russian co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk group Yuri Merzlyakov, he expressed hope for continuation of such meetings. “However, it would be difficult to solve this problem without active participation of Minsk group and its co-chairmen”, – he said.
