ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO LEAVE FOR BULGARIA ON FORMAL VISIT SEPTEMBER 7

Armenian president Robert Kocharian will make a formal visit to Bulgaria September 7-9. According to the president’s press service, R. Kocharian is to meet with Bulgarian leader Georgi Parvanov after what bilateral negotiations with a greater number of participants will take place September 8. A number of documents, particularly a consular convention, an intergovernmental agreement on health protection as well as programs for cooperation till 2006 in the spheres of science, culture and education are to be signed. R. Kocharian is expected to meet with the parliament chairman as well as prime minister of Bulgaria. Armenian president will also make a speech at the closing ceremony of Armenian-Bulgarian business forum in Sofia.
