The French government prompts the Azeri supreme leadership to recognition of Nagorno Karabakh independence. As reported by Arminfo agency referring to Azeri media, ex-minister of the interior of Azerbaijan Iskender Hamidov, who was released lately, told journalists yesterday. Referring to his sources, he noted that another OSCE Minsk Group co-chair country that promotes it is Russia, which concludes military treaties with Armenia. As of the third country co-chairing the Minsk Group – the US – in the ex-minister’s opinion, Washington does not care who will control Nagorno Karabakh. “The important thing for the US is fulfillment of its oil interests in the region,” he stated.
