ARMENIAN BELIEVERS GOT OPPORTUNITY TO CONFESS TO VIRTUAL PRIEST

Visitors of the web site of the Araratian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church are granted the opportunity to get answers to questions troubling them or merely unburden their hearts. Via a special e-mail address, that can be found at www.araratian-tem.am site, the faithful can contact clerics virtually. As reported by Eliza Manukian, the coordinator of the press service of the Araratian Diocese, within the past month since the start of the project, over 100 people from Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh took advantage of the opportunity. The page users in most cases prefer to remain anonymous and are mainly interested in extramarital relationships, activities of religious sects, family relations, women’s rights. The intention of the undertaking organizers was to bring the young generation closer to the church.
