Azerbaijan is a little behind its neighbor Armenia in meeting the commitments undertaken when being admitted to the Council of Europe (CE), stated head of the monitoring group of the CE Committee of Ministers Pietro Ercole Ago at a meeting with members of the Azeri delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). In his words, Turan Azeri agency reported, it is necessary for Azerbaijan to adopt the experience of Armenia, which has composed and follows the schedule of meeting its obligations. As of the Karabakh conflict settlement, P. Ago noted the importance of discussing the issue by the CE Committee of Ministers and PACE.
