AZERI SPEAKER DISCONTENTED WITH VISIT OF UK AND US REPRESENTATIVES TO NKR

Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis chairman Murtuz Aleskerov expressed his discontent on account of the visit paid by the delegation of UK and US public organizations headed by director of the London Information Network on Conflicts and State-Building (LINKS) Stephen Nash to Nagorno Karabakh through Armenia. As reported by Baku media, the Speaker made the statement at the meeting with Vice Speaker of the Goergian Parliament Vakhtang Kolbaya last weekend. At the same time, M. Aleskerov stressed the inadmissibility of mutual visits of representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan unless the seized Azerbaijani territories are freed. Only then we will negotiate with Armenia on economic and political issues thus making possible the formation of unified Caucasus, he said.
