As result of pressure exerted by NATO upon the Azerbaijani leadership the participation of the Armenian officers in the NATO Cooperative Best Effort-2004 March planning conference in Baku has been guaranteed, as reported by Liberty broadcasting station, NATO representative Frederico Yanshin stated during his visit to Yerevan. Meanwhile, according to the source, head of Azeri Organization for Karabakh Liberation (OKL) Akif Nagi excluded the possibility of such a position of official Baku and stated that if Armenian servicemen arrive in Azerbaijan the OKL activists will undertake corresponding measures.
