The murder of an Armenian lieutenant by an Azeri officer in Budapest seriously damages the idea of the NATO Partnership for Peace Program, Armenian ambassador to the Benelux Vigen Chitechian said in an interview with the Public TV Company of Armenia. In his words, the name of the program itself – Partnership for Peace – rules out hostile attitudes among program participants. V. Chitechian reported the Armenian Embassy in Brussels has submitted a corresponding statement of the Armenian Defense Ministry to the NATO leadership. It should be noted that February 19 Azeri officer Ramil Safarov hacked Armenian officer Gurgen Margarian in Budapest – they were both taking English courses within the NATO Partnership for Peace Program.
