It is important for Nagorno Karabakh to make its position clear for the international community, “as many European structures are not aware of the essence of the Karabakh conflict.” President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Arkady Ghukasian told journalists yesterday after a meeting with Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Rapporteur on Nagorno Karabakh Terry Davis. “We should have equal rights with the other party to the conflict and we will defend our rights in all international instances,” the NKR President noted. In his opinion, European diplomats should “contribute to settlement of the conflict and not satisfy whims of the Azeri party.”
