The crime committed by an Azeri officer in Budapest February 19 is the logical outcome of the anti-Armenian hysteria, unleashed by official Baku, says a joint open letter of Nikol Aghbalian student union and ARF Dashnaktsutyun party youth wing, addressed to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Such a policy of official Baku has overstepped the verge, which resulted in representatives of Azerbaijan coolly committing crimes abroad, the message notes. Within the recent decades Armenia has paid a high price for its trustful attitude towards Azerbaijan and these idle attempts should be ceased, the letter authors suppose. “The time has come for everyone to understand that Azerbaijan cannot be trusted,” the letter says.
