Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed his gratitude to Armenia for the support it renders to Belarus in the international organizations. As reported by Mediamax agency according to Belarusian media, during the meeting with RA parliament chairman Artur Baghdasarian, who is on formal visit in Minsk at present, A. Lukashenko stated that despite close friendly ties with Armenia, such an active backing was a surprise for him. “Armenians were always remarkable for being as good as their word and for following the chosen path”, he said. The Belarusian leader noted his profound respect for Armenia, its people and President Robert Kocharian, whom he regards as a good friend.
