Yesterday in Yerevan Minister of Finance and Economy of Armenia Vardan Khachatrian and US Ambassador to Armenia John Ordway signed a program of measures, composed at the latest sitting of the US-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation held November 4-5 in Washington. The program concerns realization of a number of programs – both planned and already implemented in Armenia to develop the economy within the framework of the American aid. After signing the document the parties discussed issues relating to the Armenian government strategic program for poverty reduction, as well as problems of struggle against corruption, trafficking and money washing.
