The UN Vienna Office against Drugs and Crime arrived at the decision to conduct a monitoring in Nagorno Karabakh within the near several months. According to the Azeri media, representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan will as well take part in the monitoring. In the words of the Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev, the decision was taken due to the corresponding appeal of official Baku to the UN. To remind, Nagorno Karabakh’s leadership many times called the international organizations to conduct monitoring at the territory of NKR in order to make sure of the groundlessness of Azerbaijan’s statements regarding “prosperity of crime and drug traffic at the NKR territory”.
