Several dozens of Georgians, who arrived to Tbilisi from Azerbaijan, organized a protest action in front of the Georgian State Chancellery, where the meeting of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev was being held at the moment. As reported by Regnum agency, these were the Georgians, who live in the historical Eastern Georgia of Saingilo (Kakhski, Zakatalski and Belokanski regions of today’s Azerbaijan), protesting against infringement of their rights on the national ground. In part, the rally participants state that the local Azeri authorities close Georgian schools in the regions, make Georgians change their last names and practice other forms of national discrimination.
