The US as a country co-chairing the OSCE Minsk Group for settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem, will continue its active mediation policies in the talks and will follow the processes in the region, US State Secretary Colin Powell stated at a meeting with Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov during the latter’s current visit to the US. As reported by Azertaj news agency, the parties discussed issues relating to the fight against international terror and energy projects being realized in the Caspian basin.
