ARMENIAN MFA HAS NO INFORMATION ON ARRIVAL OF EQUATO-GUINEAN INVESTIGATORS IN ARMENIA

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has no information on arrival of investigators from Equatorial Guinea in Yerevan who investigate the case of an attempt of a coup d’etat in that country. As Press Secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Hamlet Gasparian told Arminfo news agency, the Ministry has not been informed of a possible visit by the investigators. It should be noted that according to France Presse, the investigators arrived in Yerevan to reveal whether there is any connection between 6 Armenian pilots and the attempt of the coup d’etat in Equatorial Guinea. The investigators first of all take an interest in agreement between the Armenian and German companies. To remind, 6 Armenian pilots alongside with a group of foreigners were detained in Equatorial Guinea on March 8 being accused of an attempt of preparation of a coup d’etat in that country. The Armenian pilots fully reject the accusations brought against them.
