Lavrov says bilateral cooperation benefits Russia, Armenia

Maintaining comprehensive Russia-Armenia cooperation serves the interests of both sides, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a congratulatory message to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

He congratulated Mirzoyan and the ministry’s staff on Armenia’s Independence Day, TASS reported.

“Maintaining comprehensive Russia-Armenia cooperation, including the continuation of active dialogue between the foreign ministries of Russia and Armenia, serves the mutual interests of the peoples of our countries,” Lavrov wrote.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also sent congratulatory messages to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
